Novaerus devices kill all airborne pathogens on contact, regardless of particle size.

Our products create a plasma field around a metal coil. A fan blows room air across and through these coils and exposes any pathogens (virus, bacteria, fungus, VOC) to an energy field (similar to a bug zapper!)

As the pathogens in the air float across the energy field, they are burst at the DNA/RNA level.

Novaerus' patented plasma coils kill viruses (including Coronavirus), bacteria, and fungus spores (ex. C.Dif) instantly.

Filters trap living pathogens

HEPA filters work by trapping live pathogens in fibrous material. The filter does not kill viruses or bacteria, but rather concentrates them along its membrane.

Some pathogens will begin reproducing on the membrane and can grow through the filtering material. Once the pathogen breaches the filter any air blown through it spreads the bacteria, virus, or fungus back into the room.

The best HEPA filters remove particles 0.350 nanometers and larger. Viruses are much smaller than this (0.125nm)and can pass through a filter's membrane.
